The Buell Lightning XB9S offers outstanding agility, thanks to an ultra-short 52-inch wheelbase, 21-degree head angle and 52 percent front-wheel weight bias. The ergonomics are upright and comfortable, with wide, flat handlebars for better leverage in turns. The flyscreen is mounted close to the handlebars to resemble a numberplate. Simplicity and functionality is the name of the game.

New EBRs Rolling Down The Assembly Line

On its Facebook page recently, EBR posted this picture of what are presumably 1190RX models in the first four stations of the assembly line. While maybe not Earth shattering news, it is uplifting to see Erik Buell back in business, with models we can’t wait to ride in the new year. From the photo we can see the 1200cc V-Twin engines in place, with swingarms mounted.

Motorcycle.com’s own Kevin Duke recently took a tour of Erik Buell’s “little” garage where Buell motorcycles are dreamed up and created and it looks like a mighty fine place to work! The Buell factory is a quite small operation but quite technically advanced, using high-tech testing facilities and computer programs to design, build, and test out their bikes. There’s only 170 people on staff! Just 170 employees are responsible for the entire operation, and Mr.
