1982 Honda CBX (1982)
You are bidding on a 1982 Honda CBX. If you are reading this advertisement, then you already know the iconic nature of the Honda CBX. With it's powerful inline six cylinder engine, it has become one of the hottest collector motorcycles in the market. I bought this bike a year ago. 1982 Honda CBX (1982)
I'm selling my 1982 CBX that I've owned for around 9 years. The bike overall is very clean and runs excellent the only mechanical issue it has is the brakes squeaked a little bit from sitting all winter when I rolled it out of the garage for pictures (all my old Hondas do this after hibernation so I don't really consider this an issue) It does have some scratches on the right side saddle bag from tipping over in a parking lot where it sunk into asphalt while on the center stand and fell onto its right side. Other than that to the best of my knowledge the bike has never been wrecked or had any damage. I bought it from a Honda shop manager who owned it for years and he had recently replace the pipes with new old stock Honda 6 into 2 pipes when I purchased it, and they still look amazing. I replaced the tires a few years ago and really haven't had the time to ride as I have a young child and the tires really don't have any miles on them. The bike does have some oxidation on engine covers and slight discoloration in CBX decals on side covers which seems to be common for these bikes. The bike runs good and would make an excellent addition to any collection. I have tried to disclose all known faults with this bike to the best of my knowledge, feel free to contact me with questions and any requests for specific pictures. Mileage may increase slightly. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements I will try my best to work with any licensed/bonded shipper you choose or you're welcome to pick it up in person..$500 Deposit required within 48 hours of auction end.2016-06-25 04:44:53Alliance, Nebraska, United States249200

Fri, 18 Jul 2014The EBR 1190RX had its best finish to date in the FIM Superbike World Championship (WSBK) series during the only US round at Laguna Seca in Salinas, Calif., this past weekend. In an exciting twist, the wild card entry of Larry Pegram running the #72 Foremost Insurance/EBR/AMSOIL/Hero entry garnered a 14th place finish in the second race, earning the first-ever WSBK points for an American motorcycle manufacturer. [In actuality, Pegram's EBR crossed the line in 16th place. However, the two Bimota BB3 entries who finished eighth and ninth with riders Ayrton Badovini and Christian Iddon, respectively, have had their finishes nullified all season because Bimota has not met the FIM's homologation requirements.

Thu, 29 May 2014The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.

Fri, 16 May 2014Two EBR1190RS race bikes will compete in this year’s Isle of Man TT. This is historic in itself, as never has a Buell motorcycle competed on the famed course. Making the moment more special is the fact both pilots are also Americans: TT veteran, and 2010 TT Zero race winner Mark Miller, and relative newcomer to the TT, Brandon Cretu.
