Thu, 15 Oct 2009Update Nov 13: Last Buell Motorcycle Rolls Off the Line An emotional Erik Buell has posted a video on the Buell Motorcycle site officially announcing that Harley-Davidson has shut down all Buell motorcycle production. Aaron Yates Joins Geoff May on Team Hero EBR WSBK Team
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Aaron Yates is joining Geoff May in making the jump to the World Superbike Championship with Erik Buell Racing. The two Americans will ride the Team Hero EBR 1190RX for the bike’s debut season of international racing. Yates and May finished 8-9 in the 2013 AMA Superbike Championship for Team Hero EBR, with Yates edging out his teammate by a single point.
Erik Buell Racing Teases 1190RX Production Model
Thu, 25 Jul 2013Erik Buell Racing released a photograph on its Facebook page teasing a new streetbike expected to be called the 1190RX. Official details are sparse at the moment, but the new EBR 1190RX is expected to be a street-legal version of the 1190RS racebike, as the image (see the full version below) sports a pillion seat and pegs, mirrors, lighting and license plate holder. The engine is expected to be based on the 1190cc liquid-cooled V-Twin equipped on the RS.
