The bike stance and seating position is ergonomically friendly to extend twist and turn long rides without having uncomfortable riding positions. She is aggressive just as any other sportbikes with plenty of speed and very nimble for hugging the corners but when you buddies need to stop and stretch – you will be chuckling and want to keep going.

This bike is extremely powerful and fast. The torque is unlike anything you will find in sportbikes.

The being said I must have cash in hand if you want to ride.

Aside from the performance delivered from the Helicon 1125cc V-Twin engine I would have to say the handling and braking on this bike is what separates it from the other bikes I have rode. With its short wheel base, twin-spar aluminum frame, tuned suspension, and low center of gravity from the fuel in frame design makes it very responsive – these engineering marvels tends to mold the rider and the bike as one.

This bike only has 6830 miles on it.

I WILL NOT TAKE ANY TRADES and no low ballers. I have a clean title in hand. If you have any questions just ask. Thanks.

Here is a short article that provides some basic details about the Buell 1125R.

"The 1125R superbike incorporates many signature Buell engineering traits such as carrying the engines' fuel within the frame, its Zero Torsional Load (ZTL2) front brake which uses an oversized perimeter rotor and a single 8-piston caliper, a compact high-volume underslung exhaust system, and belt final-drive. Powering the Buell 1125R is a Helicon 1125cc V-Twin engine that benefits from contemporary sportbike engine design including double overhead camshafts and 4-valve cylinder heads. The 1125R also benefits from liquid-cooling--a first for any Buell motorcycle. Engineered by Buell but manufactured by Austrian technical partner Rotax, the engine is claimed to dish out 146 horsepower. A close-ratio six-speed transmission and Hydraulic Vacuum Assist (HVA) slipper-action clutch complete the Buell 1125R powertrain. The 1125R's chassis is comprised of a thick twin-spar frame and swingarm both constructed out of aluminum. Suspension is comprised of an equally thick 3-way adjustable 47mm Showa inverted fork and a Showa rear shock that attaches directly between the frame and swingarm without linkage, which is typical on other sportbikes. The Buell 1125R returns for 2009 with only minor modifications including revised engine calibration settings and colors." (Motorcycle-USA.com)

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.

Buell Motorcycle Factory Looks like a Fun Place to Work! [Video]

Wed, 08 Jul 2009

Motorcycle.com’s own Kevin Duke recently took a tour of Erik Buell’s “little” garage where Buell motorcycles are dreamed up and created and it looks like a mighty fine place to work! The Buell factory is a quite small operation but quite technically advanced, using high-tech testing facilities and computer programs to design, build, and test out their bikes.  There’s only 170 people on staff! Just 170 employees are responsible for the entire operation, and Mr.

Spanish version of Buell.

A small Spanish company called Bottpower, which specializes in custom motorcycles, has unveiled new photos and a teaser of the XR1R project, a track bike equipped with a Buell V-twin. It is known that the motorcycle is assembled on a titanium frame, equipped with advanced electronics, including three power supply cards, traction control and launch control, and its specific power is close to 1kg per hp.
