AS IS The Zero XU is the world’s first street motorcycle that enables owners to essentially charge anywhere by way of an on-board charger, removable power pack and optional stand-alone charger. This allows owners to recharge without the requirement of garage or street-level charging at their homes or apartments. The removable pack also facilitates essentially non-stop usage by enabling individuals, or fleets, to quickly swap power packs. Fueled by Zero Motorcycles’ patented lithium ion technology, the Zero XU delivers instant torque from zero RPM. This is made possible by the power pack’s ability to efficiently dump an incredibly high amount of power as soon as you twist the throttle. Using an advanced monitoring system, each cell in the removable power pack is individually controlled during charge and discharge. An on-board charger integrates into this system and uses a specially developed charge profile to optimize the power pack’s recharge time. Motorcycle cosmetically is in good condition, has some scuffs/scratches, and a few body snaps are broken.Motorcycle was working and charging when we original purchased this item, however now it will not charge, nor turn on.The picture showing mileage was when motorcycle turned on, which it no longer does.Comes with power cord which allows charging in a normal 110V/120V 3-prong power outlet. However when plugged in it flashes twice and turns off.Item no longer charges nor turns on.Selling AS IS, no return, no refund.

The Aston Martin V12-Powered Cruiser

Fri, 05 Jul 2013

From the WTF files of Youtube comes this custom built (obviously) motorcycle powered by none other than a V12 plucked directly from an Aston Martin. When it comes to transplanting large car engines into motorcycles, Boss Hoss has been the go-to name with its V8-powered customs, but this creation takes it one step further. We don’t know much about the build, but really, the video speaks for itself.

Early V8 Motorcycle

Before venturing into aeronautics, Glenn H. Curtiss began his long and storied career by working with motorcycles. In fact, the early aviation community sought out Curtiss due to his reputation for constructing powerful and lightweight motorcycle engines.
