Gladstone Motorcycles to Produce Bespoke British Bobbers

Television presenter Henry Cole has ridden countless motorcycles as host of the British Travel Channel’s “World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides” program for 11 series, but he’ll soon be introducing a line of motorcycles of his own with his new Gladstone Motorcycles company. Named for Cole’s great-great-uncle, four-time British Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone, the new firm will produce limited runs of hand-built bespoke motorcycles. A New Bobber From Victory?

On its Facebook page today, Victory motorcycles released a teaser video for an upcoming model to be unveiled December 9 at 7pm CST. The video is a brief 43 seconds that begins with the sound of spray paint being shaken and black paint being “sprayed” onto the camera. What follows is a montage centered around pinstriping and boulevard attitude, as the video sequences between scenes of a man applying pinstripes to what presumably is Victory’s new model and POV shots of this machine rolling down a typical avenue.

The first release from One World Studio, Choppertown: The Sinners, is a documentary film about garage-built motorcycles that also follows the renowned hot rod and motorcycle club the Sinners.  The second release, Brittown: A British Motorcycle, documents legendary underground mechanic and Britbike connoisseur “Meatball” from the Hell On Wheels bike shop in Anaheim, CA.
