2000 Royal Enfield Bullet (2000)
2000 Royal Enfield Bullet Military Edition Royal Enfield Bullet Classic. 500cc single cylinder, kick start only, lots of extras. Amo can side storage, crash bars, mukini carb, lots of spare parts- oil filters, printed manual, textile jacket, military helmet (not street legal), posters, and on and on. This bike was originally owned by Michelle Smith of American Thunder. There is an autographed picture of her on the inside of one of the storage cans. Clear title. Will need to be hauled. Bike starts but runs rough. New points, plug and spark cable recently installed, around 6200 miles. The paint is ok- original and plenty of scrapes to give it a full aged look. This is a typical British bike- it leakes fluids and requires regular maintenance to keep in good working order. Also research how to ride a Royal Enfield Bullet- The clutch is for shifting only, as approaching a stop you need to use the neutral finder pedal to drop the bike into N- otherwise it will lunge if left in gear. Bimota to Miss Remainder of WSBK Season
Thu, 28 Aug 2014Bimota has failed to meet the World Superbike Championship‘s homologation requirements and will not be allowed to participate in the rest of the 2014 season. Bimota had been under probation where it was allowed to race but would not receive any championship points for its efforts, until it could produce 125 street legal examples of its BB3 superbike. The probationary period has now ended and Bimota has informed series promoter Dorna and the FIM that it has not met the 125-unit minimum required for homologation.
EBR First American Sportbike To Score Points In WSBK, Makes History
Fri, 18 Jul 2014The EBR 1190RX had its best finish to date in the FIM Superbike World Championship (WSBK) series during the only US round at Laguna Seca in Salinas, Calif., this past weekend. In an exciting twist, the wild card entry of Larry Pegram running the #72 Foremost Insurance/EBR/AMSOIL/Hero entry garnered a 14th place finish in the second race, earning the first-ever WSBK points for an American motorcycle manufacturer. [In actuality, Pegram's EBR crossed the line in 16th place. However, the two Bimota BB3 entries who finished eighth and ninth with riders Ayrton Badovini and Christian Iddon, respectively, have had their finishes nullified all season because Bimota has not met the FIM's homologation requirements.

Mon, 14 Apr 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.
Bimota Passes WSBK Homologation Inspection
Thu, 10 Apr 2014Bimota has been given the okay to race in the 2014 World Superbike Championship after a visit from representatives from the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) and WSBK promoter Dorna. Bimota and its racing partner Team Alstare will be allowed to race in the championship immediately, starting with this weekend’s round at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The manufacturer opened the doors to its factory in Rimini, Italy, to Charles Hennekam, FIM technical coordinator and motorcycle homologation officer, and Gregorio Lavilla, Dorna WSBK sporting director.
Massimo Tamburini: 1943 – 2014
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Massimo Tamburini, creator of some of the industry’s most iconic motorcycle designs, has succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 70. Tamburini was diagnosed with the disease last November and underwent chemotherapy treatment but passed away April 6. Earning renown for designing motorcycles such as the Ducati 916 and the MV Agusta F4, Tamburini’s name will be forever linked with those two companies, as well as Cagiva and helped found Bimota (Tamburini is the “Ta” in the company’s name.) George Brough-Owned 1939 Brough Superior SS100 Up For Auction
Fri, 04 Apr 2014At the Bonhams Stafford Sale of Important Collectors’ Motorcycles and Related Memorabilia on April 27th, a 1939 Brough Superior SS100formerly owned by the famed designer, George Brough, will be put up for auction with other notable motorcycles and related items. George Brough and Motor Cycling journalist Henry Laird participating in the 1939 London-Edinburgh endurance event. The Brough Superior, license number ’FTV 702’, was originally a sidecar that was registered by Brough on May 24, 1939.
FIM Eases WSBK Homologation Requirements
Sat, 22 Feb 2014With the 2014 World Superbike Championship now under way, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) announced a change in the homologation procedure for new motorcycles entering the series. The new regulations requires a minimum of 125 units produced in order to begin the homologation process. By the end of the first year of participation, manufacturers must have produced 250 units.

The provisional list includes 27 riders riding motorcycles from nine different manufacturers.
