Bimota Misses WSBK Homologation Target
Wed, 12 Feb 2014The World Superbike Championship welcomed two new manufacturers for the 2014 season in Erik Buell Racing and MV Agusta, but another potential entrant has missed the cut . Bimota and riders Ayrton Badovini and Christian Iddon were not among the teams mentioned in a WSBK press release previewing the 2014 season. Thu, 30 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The provisional list includes 27 riders riding motorcycles from nine different manufacturers. Of these riders, 12 are riding in the new EVO sub-category which limits engine upgrades and electronics to Superstock class rules.
