2008 BIG DOG MOTORCYCLE RIDGEBACK CHOPPER WITH ONLY 1,640 MILES ON IT. POWERED BY A 1900CC (117") S&S CARBURETED V-TWIN ENGINE AND 6-SPEED TRANSMISSION, BALANCED DRIVE. THE BIKE COMES WITH AN EXHAUST SYSTEM VINCE&HANES, AN UPGRADED AMPER REGULATOR 40(ORIGINAL IS 30), AND UPGRADED IGNITION(2KEYS). THERE ARE NO DENTS NOR SCRATCHES. THE TIRES ARE AS BRAND NEW. REAR TIRE IS A 330MM. IT HAS CUSTOM PAINT GRAPHICS (DESIGN:SKULLS+FLAMES), LED NEON GLOW LIGHTS MULTIPLE COLORS, FLASH/FADE/SOLID COLOR WITH WIRELESS REMOTE AND CONTROL UNIT.
THE ELECTRONIC HARNESS CONTROLLER AND CONTROL MODULES HAD BEEN REPLACED WITH ELECTRICAL SYSTEM RETROFIT KIT, BECAUSE OF THIS RECALL:

Summary
BIG DOG IS RECALLING CERTAIN 2004+ CHOPPER, BULLDOG, RIDGEBACK, MASTIFF, BOXER, AND PITBULL MOTORCYCLES. THERE IS A POSSIBLE LOOSE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE HARNESS CONNECTOR AND THE ELECTRONIC HARNESS CONTROLLER.

Consequence
THIS CONDITION MAY CAUSE THE MOTORCYCLE TO EXPERIENCE INTERMITTENT LOSS OF ELECTRICAL POWER TO VARIOUS COMPONENTS, WHICH CAN LEAD TO, AMONG OTHER THINGS, A LOSS OF HEADLAMP FUNCTION OR A VEHICLE STALL, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy
BIG DOG WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND DEALERS WILL REPAIR THE MOTORCYCLES FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON MAY 24, 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT BIG DOG AT 1-316-219-9121.
