I am listing this BSA for a friend of mine who does not do much Ebay stuff. The bike is located in a small town in west Texas, called Alpine. All shipping arrangements need to be made by the winning bidder. He will do what he can to help with that arrangement. There may be a chance of him coming to the San Antonio, Tx area if that would help anyone out. There is a $500 deposit made within four days. You can email or call the owner directly if you have questions about the bike, shipping, payment, etc.
Any questions sent via the ebay link will get a response with his email address. Thank you, and good luck with your bid!
There is a video of the bike running! Contact the seller and he will email you the video.
A good running, good looking, kick-only 250cc British single. This bike
is a runner, not a concourse show piece. It bears minor dents on the
fenders and has some bits of paint knocked off the tank. It has the
original formed metal tank. The bike has been painted, it was
originally bright orange. While the straight bars offer a great riding
position and a great look, they are not original. Also at some point
the engine was stripped, BSA painted this years engine black. The
exhaust is partially original but the actual muffler is a replacement,
this model came with a much longer peanut style muffler, thus the bike
is fairly loud. There is some surface rust on an area of the front
rim. The bike is
missing its chrome grab rail witch came up over the back of the seat.
Not certain if a center stand was stock, but this one doesn't have one.
Like most old Brits, it leaks a little oil. It comes with a clear title
and a stack of manuals and other vintage info. This BSA is fun to ride,
the more its ridden the better it runs.

The Steve McQueen Desert Racer
Tue, 24 Mar 2009There are few motorcycle icons within pop culture that have endured as vividly as that of the late, great Steve McQueen. A man who was at one time the highest paid actor in Hollywood, he avoided the limelight in favor of immersing himself within his passion for motorcycles. Never afraid of getting dirty, McQueen was at his happiest flogging a bike around the track with fellow racers or tinkering with the machines himself.
