You are looking at a custom built motorcycle. Bike is Florida titled in my name as a 1940 Jawa. Frame looks to be from a 1940's English bike. Trans looks to be from a Norton. This is a bike that I found sitting in the estate of Doc Harms collection. It was in the mock up stages before he passed. I'm selling the bike like I found it, non running. .This is a rare and unique bike so don't miss out! I will now let my slideshow I provided in the listing do the talking. Full payment is do within 7 days after the auction has ended. Buyer must also contact me within 2 days after the auction has ended to set up a time for payment and pickup. Bike must be picked up in Tampa FL. As long as the bike is paid for in full within 7 days after the auction has ended, then she can sit here for up to two months, but would like it picked up as soon as possible. From the wire wheels, the minimal bodywork, and the exposed engines which give off a thunderous bark, I’ve always loved looking at old Triumphs, BSAs and the like from the 60s. I’ve never owned one though. The reason is simple: old British bikes are needy little maintenance machines notorious for the odd oil leak.
Man Builds Sidecar from Bathtub
Thu, 23 Apr 2009Back in 1997, an unusual motorcycle appeared on the front page of the Bristol Evening Post. Unable to afford a costly traditional sidecar, bus driver Alan Iles of Bedminster opted to build his own, using a bathtub. Twelve years later, the 1959 650cc BSA is still going and has been ridden all over Europe to help raise money for Cancer research and various charities, for which he has raised thousands of British pounds.
The revived BSA brand showed its first Gold Star model
Fri, 04 Mar 2022At last we have a brand new model of the beloved brand: after the success of Royal Enfield and Jawa, the British BSA has returned to service. The single-cylinder classic Gold Star will enter the European market - a spiritual successor to the original company's lineup, but with a completely modern filling. The novelty is equipped with a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, two overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder, a working volume of 652 cm3.
