BSA Goldstar description

.  This has been my go to old bike, since I got the bike in 2005. Selling to give more attention to some project bikes I have.  Strong motor, charging system 12v, always been a bit weak. Could use some new tires. .080 over on the piston, vibrates, but smooths out over 70mph (only had it up to about 80 once, still a lot left).  Magneto getting a bit weak, tricky to start when fully warmed up(usually retard the spark about half way, but when hot just a little).  Hasn't gotten bad enough to rebuild, did buy a condenser, but not installed. It has always had slight grind of teeth when shifting to first(when cold from neutral, first shift to second then down to first works best).  Took a little off road excursion a few years ago on a bumpy decreasing radius corner, went down an embankment, thought I was okay until the footpeg dug in and tipped me over.  Kept on the ride that day, but Handlebars bent back and dented the tank, front fender tip bent.  Replaced the bars and took dent out on tank and spot painted black, also same on front fender tip.  Leaks some oil, drip pan used in garage, and wipe down after rides.  Actual mileage unknown. eng. number ZB34GS2322. California registration expires 8/12/2016. No Reserve.

The novelty is equipped with a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, two overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder, a working volume of 652 cm3.
