The bike has gone through a full tune and service including a carb clean and sync, new battery, oil change and a full professional safety inspection. This bike is the best of a very collectible series of Honda motorcycles so don't let your chance of owning a true vintage survivor pass you by.

Left side body cover $90, without hatch cover, small crack, some marking of finish (maybe something got spilled on it??). Powder coated aluminum back box $150. Windshield, front box combination $350 - also fabricated at my shop and powder coated, with large windshield - I was extremely happy with how this worked.

1979 HONDA Z50.  All original.  Runs and looks good. Tires are about 30%.  Has never been abused.  And has been stored inside.  Motor has good compression.  And has not been rebuilt.  Does not smoke.  One of the nicer little bikes you'll find.  What you see is what you get.  There is no title.  49cc don't require one in Idaho.  Thanks for looking.  No (0) zero feed back bidders unless you contact me first.  The shipping zip code that it will be shipped from is Idaho  83655.  Will assist in shipping anyway I can.

What’s Old Is New Again – Video

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

There’s something distinctly cool about old British motorcycles. From the wire wheels, the minimal bodywork, and the exposed engines which give off a thunderous bark, I’ve always loved looking at old Triumphs, BSAs and the like from the 60s.  I’ve never owned one though. The reason is simple: old British bikes are needy little maintenance machines notorious for the odd oil leak.

The Fonz Never Really Rode a Motorcycle!

Tue, 02 Jun 2009

According to the “King of Cool” himself, “The Fonz” (Henry Winkler) never actually rode any motorcycles during the ten year Happy Days television run.  Winkler, never rode a bike in real life either, he has dyslexia, which made it difficult for him to co-ordinate the clutch, throttle and brake.  Instead, the bikes (Harley Davidson’s, Triumph’s, BSA’s were used) were mounted on a piece of wood with wheels to make it look like he was riding, even though I am not shocked, I am a little disappointed… You can watch the interview with Winkler, the famous motorcycle jump “The Fonz” made over 14 trashcans and a bonus “Jump the Shark” video after the jump. Get the Flash Player to see this player. “Jump the Shark”, as per Phoghat’s request: Get the Flash Player to see this player.
