BMW S1000XR description

2016 BMW S1000XR with only 1917 miles.    This bike is LOADED with features.   I am the only person who has driven this bike (adult driven).   This bike has never been dropped and has zero scratches.  Its in perfect condition.   I have always kept my bikes in perfect condition.

Hate to see this bike go, but I hope someone else can appreciate it much more than me.   I don't have to time enjoy the XR to its fullest potential.   BTW - its fast, very very very fast (4 ride modes).

This bike can be set up as a sport bike or a full touring bike with plenty of room for your passenger and luggage.

I purchased many dealer upgrades and added many other things to either make the bike safer or look its best.    I have all the brand new OEM parts too.   As seen in the pictures.   All the dealer paperwork and keys too.    This bike had its first 1000mile service at Country Rode Motowerks in Rochester NY (it is also where I purchased the bike).

I have $26K into the bike.   I am asking $23K and the price is firm.  Bike is financed through BMW NA.    After I pay off the balance from the sale, I can get you the free and clear title within a few days.   I have done this on all the other bikes I have sold on eBay.

160HP keeps a smile on your face.   The electronics package is amazing.   This is the best balanced bike I have ever ridden.  Just pure adrenaline.  The quick shifter (up and down) on this bike works flawlessly and makes it such a joy to ride.

This XR is equipped with the dynamic package which includes the following features:  center stand, heated grips, cruise control, 4 ride modes (rain, road, dynamic, and dynamic pro), abs pro and automatic stability control (asc), dynamic traction control, dynamic suspension control (ESA) and quick shifter.  No BMW bike alarm included.

Transport Canada Recalls 2013 BMW R1200GS for Traction Control Bug

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

The 2013 BMW R1200GS hasn’t arrived in showrooms yet and it’s already been subjected to its second recall in Canada. Fortunately, this means the problems should be corrected before BMW‘s updated adventure-tourer gets delivered to customers. Earlier this month, Transport Canada announced a recall for the new R1200GS for a potential transmission oil leak.

EICMA 2011 Preview: BMW Maxi-Scooters to Debut in Milan

Fri, 14 Oct 2011

BMW will present its 2012 lineup at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, Italy, but the centerpiece will be the company’s first maxi-scooters. The German manufacturer is expected to reveal two scooter models, both derived from the Concept C BMW unveiled at the 2010 EICMA show. The two scooters are expected to be powered by a version of the parallel Twin engine used in the F800R, but with a lower displacement in the 500cc-650cc range.

Is there anything you CAN'T do on an S1000RR?

Mon, 08 Mar 2010

WE'VE SEEN videos of BMW's stunning new S1000RR pulling wheelies, stunting, sliding, racing a 700bhp Corvette, featured in a music video - we've even had a look inside the engine and now the company are using the 190bhp superbike as part of a new-style drag act - but not the Danny La Rue type. Real or not, the clip makes for amusing viewing.  Have a look.
