This bike is equipped with the industry leading safest electronics including ABS, traction control, Shift assist pro. 5 riding modes including Rain. Sport. Race, slick and User modes. I never rode it past sport mode. It also has the lates in launch control. DTC. Put limited mode,on board computer with lean angle sensors and data bank all built in to the display for on the fly adjustments. Tires have been upgraded from the original Metzler to Michelins super sticky Power Cup Evo. 2013 BMW R1200GS Recalled in Canada for Potential Transmission Oil Leak
Wed, 06 Feb 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2013 BMW R1200GS due to a potential risk of leaking transmission oil. As yet, no recall has been announced for the U.S. market by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, but we expect one shortly.
BMW R nineT Track Grinder by Urban Motor

Along with a couple of German celebrities such as television chef Horst Lichter and actor Ronald Zehrfeld, the guests included custom motorcycle shop Urban Motor. BMW tasked Urban Motor with creating the first custom R nineT to highlight the motorcycle’s potential.
Bridgestone BT-023 tyre tested
Fri, 19 Mar 2010Replacing the BT-021, the 023 has a uniform carcass construction but has two different compounds of rubber to alter its performance. The inner rubber is harder for increased life while the rubber on the tyre’s edges is softer for outright grip. On the brief dry sections of our ride the 023 seemed to get up to working temperature rapidly and delivered good dry grip, certainly more than enough for most road riders if you are honest about your riding ability.
