Bike has been meticulously maintained. Service records since new from PO. Regular oil/filter changes, had its 12k service (with valve check) done at San Jose BMW and comes with a near new set of Pirelli Diablo Rosso's.
In addition to the mods that are installed, it comes with all stock parts (exhaust, tail, windscreen), should you wish to go back to full stock. Bike has never been down. It comes with 2 keys, original books and an Excel sheet detailing all the work that has been done on the bike. Location: San Jose (I'm willing to deliver within 150mi at buyer's expense). Kymco to Supply BMW with i3 Electric Car Range Extender and New 400cc Scooter Engine
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The automotive world has been buzzing of late about BMW‘s upcoming i3 electric car having an optional range extending gas-powered motorcycle engine. As our sister site Autoguide.com reports, the i3 will be available with an optional two-cylinder BMW motorcycle engine to power a generator which can recharge the electric motor and extend the vehicle’s range to 250 miles compared to a range of 60-90 miles relying just on the battery. It turns out that two-cylinder motorcycle engine will actually be provided to BMW by Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco.

Shot at a BMW test facility, the photos reveal a half-faired motorcycle with the S1000RR’s engine.

The touring accessory firm’s "Ambato Exp" tank bag has been on sale for a month but until now only in black or black and white. It features a model-specific base plate for quick-release attachment to the R1200GS, waterproof inserts and Cordura fabric described as “tear proof”.
