The Bike is in overall great condition, the ABS light does flash until its button is pushed or both brakes are engaged at the same time. I'm told this is normal.The bike does come with the optional saddlebags and trunk/passenger backrest.All servicing for this motorcycle has been done by Hermy's BMW in Port Clinton .PA and with the Vin number they can verify all services are up too date for it, as I am the second owner. I have only put 1100 miles on it since purchase due to deployments , but rode it this morning and everything is fine with it.The bike is for local pickup only and will sign over title upon payment and pickup.It's a great bike , I just can't afford 2 bikes anymore. Mon, 27 Feb 2012Max Biaggi won the opening race to the 2012 World Superbike Championship while defending champion Carlos Checa came back from a high-speed crash in the first race to win the second at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. Reigning champion Checa of Althea Ducati had a stunning high-side crash while leading on the sixth lap of Race One. The WSBK paddock was already in shock with the death of 17-year-old Oscar McIntyre in the Superstock 600 race the day before but thankfully Checa was not seriously injured.
BMW C650GT Recalled in Canada for Loose Luggage Rack Fasteners
Mon, 27 May 2013Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2013 BMW C650GT scooter because of a problem with its accessory luggage rack mounting. On certain units, the fasteners which secure the luggage rack to the rear of the passenger grab rail may loosen over time. This may lead to the rack, and any cases attached to it, to fall off, potentially striking other vehicles, pedestrians or other objects.
Laser unleashes more power from S1000 RR
Mon, 11 Jan 2010LAZER has unveiled a new full exhaust system for the BMW S1000RR, which unleashes even more power from the near 200bhp superbike. The system's made from high strength aircraft grade titanium, while the silencer is the new carbon HotCam II. Laser claims the race system will return a power increase of 13.1 bhp.
