BMW R-Series description

Privately collected for many years, this BMW is in extremely good condition. Runs perfectly as it should and includes rare equipment. The Craven removable luggage is in excellent condition and even comes with a nice pair of liners. There are a few very light surface scratches to be noted here and there. A small paint chip on the front fender and a small scuff on the headlight rim. The mufflers were replaced with a replica Keihan units. The bike is in 9/10 condition, but not perfect which is what you would expect of an unrestored 40 year old motorcycle. The mileage is genuine. To my knowledge the bike has had 2 previous owners; One owned it for many years and the other bought it recently and traded it. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility although I am happy to assist and well equipped to crate if necessary for a fee.

A $500 Paypal deposit is required within 24 hours of the auction ending and the rest in cash or via bank transfer only within 7 days.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask and I'll do my best to answer.

Used Review: Clover GT3 jacket

Fri, 01 Aug 2008

I’ve been wearing this waterproof textile jacket since March and it’s performed very well. The silver colour shows up dirt something rotten, there’s a stark lack of useful pockets and the cut is quite square, but as a jacket to keep the cold and water out it’s been right up to the job. It’s my daily commuting top, one of those jackets you throw on without thinking about it, and now that it’s summer I can’t see the point in getting a replacement anytime soon.

Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.

Globetrotting Vespa Takes Final 800-Mile Journey to Piaggio Foundation Museum – Video

Thu, 24 May 2012

When you think of making a round-the-world motorcycle tour, you usually think of an adventure touring bike like the BMW R1200GS à la Ewen McGregor and Charley Boorman in “Long Way Round“. Sean Jordan, a Canadian expatriate living in Budapest, Hungary, had a different steed in mind: a Vespa P200E scooter. On Dec.
