I AM RELUCTANTLY OFFERING MY VERY ORIGINAL 1956 R50 BMW. I BOUGHT IT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER MANY YEARS AGO AND HAVE KEEP IT JUST ABOUT THE WAY I GOT IT. THE BIKE WAS BUILT IN 1956 AND IS REGISTERED AS A 1957. I DID INSTALL THE LARGE TANK, HEADLIGHT MIRRORS, NEW STEERING BEARINGS AND SIGNAL LIGHTS. PAINT, SEAT, SINGLE CROSS SPOKE RIMS ARE STOCK. MILEAGE IS CORRECT. NUMBERS MATCH, BUT THERE WAS NO HEAD TAG WHEN I GOT THE BIKE AND ONE WAS ADDED. HAS ORIGINAL KEYS, MANUAL, PUMP AND TOOL KIT.THE SEAT IS RIPPED AND THE BATTERY IS OLDER. THERE ARE NEW HEIDINEAU TIRES. THE BIKE RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD, BUT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR SOME MONTHS. I HAVE A TRANFERABLE REGISTRATION AND BILL OF SALE FOR THE NEXT OWNER. Lamborghini Plows Into BMW Motorcycle Dealership
Tue, 10 Jul 2012Pictured here is the carnage left behind after a driver lost control of a Lamborghini Murciélago and plowed through a row of motorcycles parked outside a BMW dealership in Mariano Comense, a town north of Milan, Italy. According to Italian site InFullGear, the driver veered into the oncoming lane while approaching a curve before losing control and running into the parked motorcycles before bouncing off and coming to a stop in the middle of the road. The crash injured three people, though thankfully none of them were seriously injured.
Michelin Launches New Pilot Road 4 Sport-Touring Tire
Fri, 22 Nov 2013Coming in 2014 is an all-new range of motorcycle tires from Michelin, available in three versions: the Michelin Pilot Road 4, Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT and Michelin Pilot Road 4 Trail. Covering virtually every category of sport-touring motorcycle, the Pilot Road 4 line is well suited for motorcycles over 600cc. They were designed to deliver maximum safety in the most common conditions of use, especially on wet roads and in particular when braking. In its press release Michelin also claims extended tire life, which we assume is in comparison to the Pilot Road 3.
