2005 BMW R-Series (2005)
Brought to California after a death in the family. Titled and registered in California, after finding how to locate a hidden engine number for our impossible DMV. From photos, you see bike has been well maintained over the years, and what it sold for less than 3 years ago. I've been riding since 1970 and find this BMW 1200 to be just as smooth and powerful as any of my other sport bikes (1100 Yamaha's and Honda's and one 1200 Harley Sportster). But, it's too tall for me. My loss. I recently sold another bike to a buyer (see my comments) and offered to deliver it to him for a price, which he accepted after dealing with motorcycle shipping services. In the photos you'll see the red BMW on a flatbed trailer. I could also use it to deliver it to you, as I used it to bring it home here, from the Midwest. My price is simple, IRS mileage one-way with a minimum $200. Or, you could come pick it up in person and ride it home, from San Diego. Or arrange for a pickup here. You could even buy the trailer from me ($650. The trailer is licensed and titled in California).2024-07-02 18:43:23San Diego, California, United States49,9003,000.00

2005 R1200RT (2005)
I am the second owner purchased through a 3rd party after first owner put the bike down. Nose panel, right side logo panel, mirror and side case were replaced. Also swapped out the following parts from a 2006 bike with 24000 miles to upgrade existing: rotors, final drive, ESA shock. Cases have some scratches as does the right valve cover. Locks do not match on cases but can be rekeyed. Cruise control switch does not work but cruise is on and works as should. Otherwise, bike has been very well maintained. I drove last year for 3000 miles with absolutely no problems. Added Sargent Seat and bar risers. Seats are heated but I have not hooked up as they did not come with factory plug. Only able to put a couple hundred miles on this year and daughter in college so need to sell. Great chance to get a very good bike at a reasonable price. I have no reservations about this bike and wish I didn't have to sell. Good luck and thanks for looking!2013-10-22 00:19:30Ogdensburg, New York, US74,3575,000.00

2024 BMW F 900 GS Review – First Ride
Fri, 12 Jul 2024The middleweight GS gets a significant performance boost Despite having been around the longest, BMW’s middleweight machines haven’t been leading the pack since the current adventure craze took off. The 390 Adventure Project – Upgrades and Adjustments
Wed, 10 Jul 2024Following in the wake of the Biltwell 100 race, my confidence in the 390 Adventure and my ability to pilot it for long stretches off-road soared. The ability to combine the technical skills I learned in the ATX Moto Adventures and Sedlak Off Road classes, along with some good old-fashioned seat time, really paid off. In addition, there were two changes I made to the bike that firmly cemented my trust in piloting it through the sketchy sandy trails – a custom lowered seat from Seat Concepts, and some aggressive knobby tires.

According to MV’s Stefano Campaci, the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro had to appeal to both motorcyclists and even non-motorcyclists alike.
How to Replace Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Handlebars
Wed, 03 Jul 2024What’s the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about riding your motorcycle? Not to get too sappy about things, but a good portion of us will probably picture grabbing the handlebars and thumbing the starter switch before what’s hopefully an epic ride – even if it’s only to the office. The handlebars are the main connection point to our machines, where the all-important throttle, brake, and clutch controls call home.
