BMW R-Series tech info
BMW R-Series description
A fine machine. I bought this bike in the spring to use a commuter bike to get to school. That was 500 miles a week for the summer, and average 200 miles a day for practicals in Sept. ran flawlessly. Bike has sat since sept, want a lighter bike for around town.
Has Sargent seat, 3 way adjustable, non electric. Adjustable wind screen. 1 power outlet.
Prevoius owner removed ABS
Things I replaced because checking in the records theses items had not been replaced, Injectors, TPS, Ignition Hall Effect Sensor, alternator belt.
9 of 2012, full service by previous owner by Max BMW, service records indicate also: new clutch 06, new l cylinder 05, and all kinds of stuff. about 9k miles on the clutch, changed at 26k. Again theses are from service records. There is Suzuki exhaust on it, yes I said Suzuki, came to me that way. sounds kind nice. I put on the GIVI monokey top case with brake light. liners come with the side cases. also spare headlight assembly, new.

BMW Introduces Dynamic Damping Control Suspension System
Mon, 04 Jul 2011BMW has developed new suspension technology that automatically adjusts damping for different riding conditions. The Dynamic Damping Control is the next evolutionary step in BMW‘s suspension technology, following its Electronic Suspension Adjustment systems (ESA and ESA II). While ESA allowed the rider to adjust suspension settings with the push of a button, DDC automatically makes adjustments as you ride.

My S1000RR has stopped but it's only a broken chain.
Thu, 15 Sep 2011I know there has been a lack of blogging on my S1000RR recently and that’s because it’s broken, but only a little bit. On July 18th I was at Silverstone looking after some Bahnstormer BMW customers, when late in the afternoon something hit me on the back as I was charging down the Wellington Straight. At that precise moment I also thought I had hit a false neutral but it turns out the chain had snapped.
