Bike has Premium package, BMW Akrapovic exhaust (stock exhaust included) BMW valve cover guards, BMW hard bags, BMW GPS, Denali lights, VStream windshield(stock shield included) and Givi tail bag. Bike has been babied since day one. Never dropped or down, always garaged on battery tender. Break in service done by BMW dealer and oil changed at 3700 miles by dealer. $16,000 or best offer. Jeremy Burgess Out and Silvano Galbusera In as Valentino Rossi’s Crew Chief
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.
BMW Reports 14% Sales Increase in US in 2012
Thu, 03 Jan 2013BMW reported sales of 12,057 motorcycles in the U.S. in 2012, representing a 14.0% increase on the 10,572 units sold in 2011. Leading the way was the S1000RR, with BMW selling 1,934 of the sportbikes this year.
