Bike was purchased by me in 2011 brand new from Max BMW in Brookfield, CT.  The bike was ridden for part of 1 season and has been stored in-doors ever since. Reason for selling is riding partner is no longer able to ride and bike is sitting unused more often than not.  This bike was over $20,000.00 new with all the options it has.  It's basically set up just like a GSA minus the tubular crash bars and large fuel tank.  Reserve is set very low!  I will not arrange for shipping, but if you wish to have the bike shipped I can meet whatever carrier you hire to get the bike loaded.  Bike is located in Harwinton, CT 06791.  If you have additional questions please feel free to ask before you bid.  $500 deposit due within 48 Hrs. of auction close, balance on pick-up.  Acceptable forms of payment would be cashier's check or cash.  Deposit payment via Paypal, cashier's check or postal money order.  Bike is still under BMW's 3 year warranty until mid-late 2014.  I have a small note on the bike still but if it looks like it's going to sell I will send payoff to obtain Title.  Auction is for bike and listed accessories, nothing else in the photos (i.e. other vehicles) is/are included.

BMW Announces Recall Campaign for K1600 Family Motorcycles

Fri, 25 Feb 2022

The recall concerns all 2019-2020 BMW K1600 models due to the risk of rear suspension link failure caused by a manufacturing defect - the strength of the part does not meet the factory requirements. This linkage may be destroyed during normal road use, causing the rear of the motorcycle to fall onto the rear wheel. BMW dealers this spring will begin notifying owners of motorcycles that are subject of the recall campaign to visit an authorized dealership for a rear suspension linkage replacement.
