Up for grabs is a custom built Martin Conquest conversion trike set up for use with a wheelchair (wheelchair included, not pictured). The bike was built using a 2010 BMW R12 motorcycle. Wheelchair automatic ramp/gate. Built in locks for the Wheelchair. All controls are hand based, including reverse. This bike is a great attention getter and offers anyone wheelchair bound an opportunity to get and ride again. I am sure anyone interested has a lot of questions so you are welcome to e-mail me. 2013 BMW F700GS and F800GS Announced
Tue, 03 Jul 2012BMW has updated its F800GS and introduced the F700GS which replaces the F650GS for the German manufacturer’s 2013 lineup. The 2013 BMW F800GS slots in under the R1200GS as the company’s mid-displacement adventure tourer while the F700GS is an entry-level model to the segment. Despite the nomenclature, both models are equipped with liquid-cooled and fuel-injected four-valve 798cc twin-cylinder engines, just like the 650.
BMW Sells Husqvarna to Pierer Industrie AG
Thu, 31 Jan 2013The BMW Group has announced the sale of 110-year old Husqvarna Motorcycles to Austrian-based Pierer Industrie AG. “The BMW Group signed a purchase agreement with Pierer Industrie AG (Austria) for the acquisition of Husqvarna Motorcycles. The acquisition will proceed subject to approval by anti-trust authorities.
