For sale 2009 BMW R1200RT. This bike comes with only 6K Miles. This bike is adult ridden, never abused, and garage kept. This bike comes with the following options such as; ABS, Heated Grips, BMW Comfort Seat, Saddlebags, Handlebar Risers, Electronically Adjustable Windshield, TPMS, etc.
This bike is in very good over all condition. Saddlebags inner sides have minor scratches since it was placed on a ground at times. Other than that this bike is in good condition, comes as pictured, no known issues with this bike at all. this bike rides excellent, no leaks of any kind. Comes with almost new Michelin Pilot tires. Thu, 10 Apr 2014BMW is developing a new organic light emitting diode lighting system for cars and motorcycles. Unlike conventional LEDs, organic LEDs (or OLEDs) uses wafer-thin semiconductive layers made from organic polymers to produce light. OLEDs are more efficient and emit less heat than LEDs.
BMW Reportedly Developing 450cc Racebike
Wed, 28 Nov 2012Italian website Motociclismo.it reports BMW is working on a new 450cc racebike to be used in youth racing series at select rounds other World Superbike Championship and the British Superbike Championship. According to the report, the new track-only sportbike will use a 450cc single-cylinder engine, likely the Husqvarna-developed version of the engine used in the BMW G450X. The engine will be mounted in an all-new chassis with racing suspension, wheels and carbon fiber fairing.
