For sale 2008 BMW R1200GS. Excellent used condition with no dents or dings. No mechanical problems. Don't hesitate to make me a reasonable offer. Must sell due to recent job change and it is no longer in the budget. Fun to ride and has a lot of accessories like Akrapovic exhaust, heated grips, engine guards, Jesse hard saddlebags, PIAA lights, GPS mount, a custom seat with height adjustment, and more. It is equipped with ESA, the BMW electronically adjustable suspension so the ride is great no matter what terrain you're on. It has ABS and a full gauge readout with tire pressure, engine oil status, temperature, miles to empty, and more. This bike is top of the line and doesn't need anything but ridden. Recently serviced at Bloodworth BMW in Nashville, TN where it was also purchased. Only one owner before me. It has low miles at 32,000. 30th Anniversary Edition BMW K1300S Announced for EICMA
Thu, 25 Oct 2012BMW announced it will mark the 30th anniversary of its K series with a special edition K1300S. The 2013 BMW K1300S “30 Jahre K-Modelle” will be presented at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy in a couple of weeks’ time. Though perhaps not as popular as BMW‘s R series boxer models, the K series served as a platform for a number of technologies that were either new for BMW or new for the motorcycle industry.
Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations
Fri, 11 Oct 2013On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.
