For sale 2008 BMW R1200GS Adventure. This bike comes with only 9K Miles. This bike is fully loaded for its year and model such as; ASC (Automatic Stability Control) ABS, ESA, Heated Grips, TPMS, Top Case, Fog Lights, Saddlebags, etc.
This bike is in very good condition overall the only thing is the right valve cover guard has scuffing and that happened during transportation to my dealership. Other than that this bike is in great running condition, no known issues. This bike was salvaged due to the small imperfections on this bike. The only thing that was changed on it is the left front turn signal cover and saddlebags were missing which were replaced by a good used set. I am posting pictures from auction at the time of purchase. This bike comes as pictured no surprises. Great bike with very low miles. This bike never been of road, so the buyer should not worry about being dirty or abused. There is no wheel, engine, frame, or suspension damage. EICMA 2012: BMW Motorrad Celebrates 90th Anniversary with Special Edition R1200GS, R1200R and R1200RT
Tue, 13 Nov 2012BMW announced it will introduce an all-new Boxer to celebrate its 90th year of motorcycle production, but you didn’t think the German manufacturer would stop there without a couple of other special edition models, did you? To mark the anniversary, BMW revealed special edition “90 Jahre BMW Motorrad” versions of its R1200GS adventure bike, R1200R roadster and R1200RT tourer in Milan at the 2012 EICMA Show. All three models come in a Sapphire Black Metallic color with matte black engines, gold anodized suspension and brakes, and asphalt gray metallic swingarms, trailing arms and rear frames, and granite gray metallic cylinder head covers, and a nickel-plated polished brass plate on the upper fork.
Liquid-Cooled 2015 BMW R1200R Spied
Fri, 10 Jan 2014German site MotorradOnline.de has published a spy photo of what appears to be a new liquid-cooled BMW R1200R prototype undergoing testing. The production model should arrive for the 2015 model year, with the official unveiling likely to take place at the Intermot show in Cologne in October. The spy photo shows the top of the test bike, with the engines, wheels and exhaust hidden behind a railing.

Fri, 08 Jul 2011An hour and a half in my shed was all it took to bolt two boxes of goodies from R&G Racing on to my S1000RR. The casing covers (£190.00), cotton reels (£25.49 ), frame inserts(£21.00) and crash protectors (£67.99)are a doddle to bolt on and come with all the necessary allen bolts. The multi adjustable rearsets (£350.00) are equally as easy to fit (they must be if I can do it) and also come with clear instructions.
