BMW R-Series description

For sale 2008 BMW R1200RTP. This bike comes with 55K Miles. This bike is adult ridden and is in very good shape for its year and miles. Does come with normal wear. This bike comes with the following options such as; ABS, ASC, TPMS, Adjustable Windshield, Heated Grips, etc. This bike is equipped with Code 3 Lights and siren its amber lights not Red/Blue. 

This bike was purchased from insurance company therefore carries salvage title. It is registrable in all 50 states. At the time of purchase this bike did not had saddlebags, front windshield arms were broken, the rest of this bike is in exact same condition. I am posting a picture at the time of purchase for the buyer to see exact condition of this bike. Since than both used bags were purchased and windshield arms along with a windshield itself were replaced. 

This bike is in great running condition. I rode personally this bike for over 50 miles and it runs great. No known issues with this bike. Tires are in good shape.

BMW Bounces Back with Record August Sales

When BMW released its second quarter report last month, the company reported a 4.2% decrease in BMW and Husqvarna motorcycle sales due mainly to a struggling European economy. The economic woes persist but BMW appears to be recovering, reporting a new sales record for the month of August. BMW reports sales of 7,400 motorcycles and scooters in August 2012, a company record for the month and an 11.3% increase from the 6,646 units sold in August 2011 and 14.7% more than the 6,405 units sold in August 2010.

French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
