BMW R-Series description

You are bidding on a 2005 BMW RTP1150 Police Motorcycle.  The motorcycle was originally used as a department motorcycle up in New Jersey.  The cycle was traded in for a newer model for the department.  This is a perfect motorcycle for funeral escorts or any other escorts for house moves, etc.  The tires are in good condition and the clutch was recently replaced.  With the current mileage, it has plenty of life left.  This bike is equipped with police emergency equipment.  Police lights and siren. If you are in law enforcement, all equipment will stay.  If you are not in law enforcement, all police equipment will be removed.  You will be responsible for shipping/pick up.  I ask that if you are the winning bidder, please provide me with a certified bank check so I can deposit with my bank.  I still have a note to pay off.  Once they advise payment is good, the bike is yours.    I will have all paperwork for us to fill out.  I am also selling this locally so I reserve the right to remove this listing.  If you would like to buy it now and not wait, email me.  If you would like more pictures of any particular area, email me and I will send it to you.  Compared to other police motorcycles in regards to mileage, equipment, and year listed on Ebay, this is well worth it.  Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Why does that matter? The clutch installed on your bike is a wear item, and as the friction plates within the clutch wear out from countless engagements and disengagements, they become thinner.

Road Test: Mercedes SLR McLaren Roadster

Wed, 09 Oct 2013

In the world of supercars, where image and presence are everything, the Mercedes SLR McLaren Roadster has the role of consummate drama queen perfectly nailed. The rolling thunder soundtrack from its supercharged V8 motor, amplified by its four side exhaust pipes, announces its impending arrival like a fanfare complete with drum rolls. Heads swivel, seeking the source.

2014 Urals Get Upgraded & Go On Tour

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

For 2014 Ural has equipped its line-up of two-wheelers and sidecars with some very modern componentry. Ural models now enjoy the benefits of electronic fuel injection (EFI), disc brakes (on all three wheels) and an hydraulic steering damper. Ural claims the motorcycles have received “dozens of other upgrades,” but did not provide details as to nature of those upgrades.
