2004 BMW R1150RT-P Motorcycle
111,000 miles and runs great. This is the police model, and was formally a California Highway Patrol (CHiPs) bike. The lights and sirens were removed, and a rear seat installed so you can ride 2-up like normal. I had the local BMW motorcycle shop perform all scheduled maintenance last fall, plus it has: -New tires -New stainless steel braided brake lines -New batteries Police model unique features: -larger alternator -two batteries -switch to turn off the lights -fan behind the oil cooler. Other R1150RT features include: -removable locking hard luggage -adjustable height windshield -heated grips -fuel injection -fuel gauge -adjustable headlamp beam height -three-position driver's seat No warranty. Spy Video Provides Up-Close Look at 2014 BMW R1200RT/R1200GT
Wed, 17 Apr 2013Last month, we published spy photos of what appeared to be some prototypes of the 2014 BMW R1200RT sport-tourer undergoing testing somewhere in southern France. Unfortunately, the photographs were captured from far away, preventing us from seeing many details apart from the new water-cooled Boxer engine from the new GS and what appears to be the adaptive headlight from the K1600GT and GTL. Thankfully, a new video has surfaced, providing an up-close look at the new R1200RT.
BMW Announces 2023 Colors and Model Updates
Thu, 30 Jun 2022New colors and packages for returning models BMW released initial details on its 2023 model lineup, including new colors and minor updates. BMW also announced the base MSRP for most of its models, though that information is rather moot, as it also announced additional packages which will automatically be added on to all models in the U.S. Not all models are included in this announcement, however.
