I bought this bile because I have 1993 R100RS that is mint condition and I wanted a bike to do to my Sunday Mornings rides on, while keeping the 100rs mint. My family now takes up my Sundays (kids). So it is time to let it go. The bike is in great conditions. Tires are almost new (see pictures). It has ABS which is in perfect working order. Come with two wind screens, travel bags, throttle master, and repair manuals. The colors of the bike are the same as the one BMW used in it's add for the bike. It is a great bike both on the back roads and on the Highway. I am the third owner of the bike. Buyer of the bike pays all shipping and Insurance costs. BMW Reports Q2 2013 Results – 15.5% Increase Produces Record Quarter
Thu, 01 Aug 2013BMW reported a record second quarter with sales of 40,209 motorcycles for the three months ended June 30, 2013. The quarter saw a year-on-year increase of 15.5% from sales of 34,816 motorcycles reported in 2012. For the year to date, BMW has sold 64,941 motorcycles, also a record for first half sales in the company’s 90 years in the motorcycle business (those numbers however do include 1,110 Husqvarna motorcycles sold in the first quarter before the brand was acquired by Pierer Industries.) The record half comes in the face of a worldwide decline of 7.1% for motorcycles 500cc and larger over the first six months.
