Selling one very clean 1992 BMW R100R BMW with factory hard luggage, and 8600 original miles. As you can see from the pictures, this is a very clean bike that is in exemplary condition, runs and rides like new and comes with original owners manuals and spare key. Same owner for the last 16 years since 1400 miles. Light cosmetic blemishes, please examine pictures. It does leak a small amount of oil, I believe from the pushrod tube seals. This is a 26 years old bike. Left tank badge is peeling a little bit, and there are some small scuffs under the valve covers, but overall this is a very nice bike. 2012 BMW S1000RR Engine Recall
Thu, 26 Apr 2012BMW is issuing a recall on the 2012 BMW S1000RR because of a risk of engine failure. According to a post on the official BMW Motorcycles USA Facebook page, the connecting rod bolts may loosen and fall out. This may result cause the engine to seize, creating the risk of a crash.

Mon, 07 May 2012It was supposed to be a weekend of celebration. The World Superbike Championship was celebrating its 25th anniversary of racing at Italy’s Monza circuit. Promoters Infront Motorsports brought out 30 landmark Superbikes from the series’ history, while greats such as Fred Merkel, Doug Polen and Carl Fogarty were in attendance for what was supposed to be a weekend to remember.
2011-2012 BMW K1600GT, K1600GTL Recalled in Canada for Engine Stall Issues
Thu, 31 Oct 2013BMW is recalling the 2011-2012 K1600GT and K1600GTL in Canada because of a risk of the engine stalling. At the moment, a recall has only been confirmed for Canada, though we expect a similar recall to come for the U.S. market from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
