I am selling my 1992 R100GS. I am the third owner and have had the bike for close to ten years. I have made many improvements over the years and have always done my best to keep the bike as original as possible. A partial list of what i have done (there are just too many to list): Euro Motoelectrics EnDuraLat 450 watt brushless alternator Kisan technologies signal minder and pathblazer Flash 2 Pass garage door opener HID deadlight Direct replacement 49 LED tail light replacement with multiple flashing modes PIAA driving lights Handle bar risers LED turn signals and indicator lights Factory windscreen, touring windscreen and +4" tinted windscreen Dyna beads in the tires Battery maintainer 2 Green Light Triggers Mini USB chargerhard wired with micro USB adapter Custom fit rain cover Tank Bag And many many more!!! I know this all sounds like a lot, but i work aviation electronics every day and everything has been installed with the best posible methods available and able to handle anything you throw at it. I have had the opportunity to ride the devils highway, mollion dollar highway, the great sand dunes and to over 14,000 feet (mount evans) on this bike, but life takes curves and with a young baby and another on the way, i have spent less and less time riding the bike (only three times this year so far). If the bike hits my buy it now price, i will throw in some kevlar slider jeans, Joe Rocket jacket and 2 helmets, one which includs a cardo scala headset. This has been a very difficult decision to sell, but it is time. I may not have identified everything you may want to know about, but email me and i will give you any info that you may want. Mon, 27 May 2013The annual Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este usually features some of the world’s most beautiful classic cars, but this year’s show had a special exhibit celebrating the 90th anniversary of BMW Motorrad. More than 6,000 people visited the BMW Group-organized Concorso d’Eleganza on the shore of Italy’s Lake Como. The BMW Motorrad exhibit featured some of the company’s most notable motorcycles spanning 90 years of history including the original BMW R32 that started it all in 1923.
BMW HP4 Gets New ABS that Works in Corners
Fri, 18 Jul 2014BMW has developed a new anti-lock braking system designed to work when a motorcycle is leaned over into a corner. The new ABS Pro system will initially be offered as a retrofit upgrade on the BMW HP4 sportbike, but it’s likely only a matter of time before the technology becomes available on other models. The ABS Pro uses the same sensors already employed by BMW’s Dynamic Traction Control and Dynamic Damping Control electronic suspension, both of which are already available on the HP4.
2025 Ducati Scrambler 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition Confirmed
Mon, 30 Sep 2024Anniversary edition will likely be revealed Oct. 17 Ducati is partnering with Rizmoa to prepare a special edition Scrambler to commemorate ten years since its debut in 2015. The confirmation comes to us via the California Air Resources Board, which has issued an updated executive order for the 2025 Ducati Scrambler range, adding a Scrambler 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition.
