BMW R-Series description

BMW R100RT in pearl white with tri color pin striping. Produced on 2-14-1984.Only 200 of these rare models were manufactured. Exactly 11,000 original miles. Tires 80%. Includes original panniers, original tool kit, keyed cable lock and owners manual. Nearly new Corbin deluxe seat with backrest is fitted but I also have the original seat. Comes equipped with Brown side stand, stainless steel brake lines and Garmin Nuvi GPS permanently wired to battery with mounting bracket. Paperwork includes original sales receipt, letter from BMW announcing the "Last Edition" series of motorcycles and manufacturer's certificate from BMW Archives. Recent service includes oil/filter change and transmission input shaft spline lube service. Ride it anywhere. I was never a fan of mathematics in high school. This would be of no surprise to any of my teachers or parents, I assure you. My justification was that none of my instructors could explain the practical applications for such numerical oddities as logarithms, permutations, or binomial theorem.

Not sure what's going on with the sound in this vid, but it calms down after a minute - sorry! As my long term BMW S1000RR does most of its miles working hard on track days, I felt an early 6000 mile service might be a good idea. A quick phone call to my local dealer (the friendly and efficient Pidcocks) saw my bike in the workshop the following week and back in my hands by lunchtime.

The BMW Group reported a 14.8% increase in motorcycle revenue and a 6.5% increase in unit sales during the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011. The German manufacturer sold 28,862 units over the quarter, including 26,312 BMW-branded motorcycles and 2,550 units from its Husqvarna subsidiary.
