Training with Marco Melandri

New BMW World Superbike recruit, Marco Melandri has been using the Bavarian manufacturer's connection to Husqvarna to get himself a nice new motocross bike for the off-season. Melandri has been riding the Husky TC250 in preparation for the 2012 season, whilst the winter testing ban was in effect. 2014 WSBK – Aragon Results

Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.

BMW Reports Q1 2012 Results

We already know BMW started 2012 off with a record first quarter with 24,373 motorcycles sold, with an additional 2,642 units from its Husqvarna subsidiary. BMW‘s quarterly report now reveals the U.S. accounted for 3,429 units sold in the first three months of the year, a 47.9% increase from 2,319 units over the same quarter of 2011.
