This is a great original condition and original paint R65LS. These bikes were dubbed the Star Wars bikes due to the wedge shaped front and seat fairing. These are rare and rapidly appreciating in value. This bike has new tires and new rear main seal. Small chip in paint noted to front fairing as seen in pics. The original black chrome exhaust and mufflers are in great shape as are the R65LS only wheels. This is a great running bike and will make someone very happy. BMW Sets New Annual Record for Motorcycle Sales – With One Month Still to Go
Mon, 09 Dec 2013BMW announced sales of 108,872 motorcycles and scooters, shattering last year’s company record for annual sales by 2.4%. Even more impressively, BMW reached that mark by the end of November and still has a whole month’s worth of sales to pad its record. In 2012, BMW sold 106,358 motorcycles and scooters to set a new company record.
