1980 BMW R100RT Original owner passed away last year at 71yo. 25800 original miles. Bike last tabbed in 2003. Was stored by a bmw fanatic. Carbs drained, float bowls look new. Battery taken out. Stored in heated dry garage. Fuel tank had tank bra from day one. Fuel tank outstanding with no fade or dents.100% original paint that is very nice. Polished valve covers,air filter and top of motor.Koni Shocks, Dual plugs,San Jose fork brace, built in radar in right side vent,will include extra right side vent assembly. Naked BMW S1000RR Spied

Shot at a BMW test facility, the photos reveal a half-faired motorcycle with the S1000RR’s engine.

Called the EX BMW because the two guys and girl behind this custom from Milan only kept the engine and part of the original frame. It uses wood, steel, laser machining, CNC and probably the odd bash with a hammer.
BMW Warns of Potential Defect in 2014 R1200RT Suspension
Thu, 05 Jun 2014BMW is issuing a warning to owners of the 2014 R1200RT with the Dynamic ESA option about a potential defect with the rear suspension. No formal recall has been announced at the moment; BMW is calling it a precautionary measure, though that may change in time or depending on the market. According to BMW, the piston rod of the rear spring strut could break.
