1977 BMW R100S with Krauser 4 valve heads and flat slide Mikunis. High performance Krauser heads installed & dyno tuned by Chris Hodgson of San Jose BMW. Originally purchased in central California. Bike starts and runs/rides, it needs a tune-up. The motorcycle does not leak, smoke or make any unusual sounds. The transmission shifts well. It's a 40 year old vintage bike, maintained but unrestored. The paint is appropriate for a motorcycle this age, it has a few flaws, but presents honestly and attractively. The fuel system is clean and it has a new (60 days) glass-mat battery installed. While parked at BMW motorcycle events it always draws a crowd. It has always been stored indoors since new. BMW Set Record with 115,215 Motorcycles Sold in 2013
Mon, 13 Jan 2014BMW continues to set sales records, announcing the sale of 115,215 motorcycles in 2013. This marks the third consecutive year of record sales, following the 106,358 motorcycles in 2012 and 104,286 motorcycles sold in 2011. We already knew BMW was going to have a banner year last month, when the German manufacturer passed its 2012 figures in just 11 months.

Using stock Cross Country models modified with only lights and sirens, the Victorys may not be as ill-equipped for chases (at least slow speed, parking lot chases) as you might think.
