Technical Work performed on the motorcycle by our skilled techs: Repaired engine leaks, Replace master cylinder system for front brake and new brake line Remove and replace engine top end and replaced push rod seals, clean cylinders, top end, valves, check vacuum, replace gaskets and seals. Resurfaced valves and recut seats. Remove transmission and clean, lubed spline. Remove clutch assembly and clean. Replace friction clutch disk. Replaced rear main seal, oil pump seal, and transmission neutral switch. Rear clean - Clutch bell housing Install Boyer Digital Electronic ignition system (Remove, strip, clean and assemble carbs. - All new O rings, gaskets floats, needles) Replaced very worn charging alternator brushes Final drive rebuilt - new bearing and seals - Brake shoes replaced Sync, Tune, Timed Engine Needs nothing but a tour!! BMW K1600GT Named International Bike of the Year 2011
Thu, 19 Jan 2012The BMW K1600GT has been voted International Bike of the Year 2011 by a panel of motorcycle magazine journalists representing 25 publications from around the world. The six-cylinder BMW K1600GT received a score of 41 points from the jury to top all contenders. Second place went to the Ducati Diavel at 32 points.
James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing
Fri, 09 Sep 2011Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
BMW Announces 2023 Colors and Model Updates
Thu, 30 Jun 2022New colors and packages for returning models BMW released initial details on its 2023 model lineup, including new colors and minor updates. BMW also announced the base MSRP for most of its models, though that information is rather moot, as it also announced additional packages which will automatically be added on to all models in the U.S. Not all models are included in this announcement, however.
