Great Condition, very reliable, Fairings , fenders and Gas Tank have been professionally custom painted red, White & Blue. Stars are under the Clear Coat. Beautifully Done. Includes Corbin Cafe Racer Seat. History said the top end was completely rebuilt at 24,420 (see picture) Includes original workshop manual. Also comes with hard bags (white) original mirrors and air filter box. Fun bike to ride. Starts right up, everything runs and works as it should. As with a bike this old , it is not perfect, but pretty close. I am selling because the garage is getting full, this is my 3rd, and I am picking up a 4th soon (BMW R90S) Deposit of $500.00 is due 48 hours after auction closes. Tue, 12 May 2009BMW has officially introduced their literbike contender: The 2009 BMW S1000RR. The pertinent numbers are a claimed 193 horsepower (at the crankshaft) and a 403.5-lb claimed dry weight. In a ready-to-ride form including fuel, BMW says to expect 450 lbs of weight.
Lamborghini Plows Into BMW Motorcycle Dealership
Tue, 10 Jul 2012Pictured here is the carnage left behind after a driver lost control of a Lamborghini Murciélago and plowed through a row of motorcycles parked outside a BMW dealership in Mariano Comense, a town north of Milan, Italy. According to Italian site InFullGear, the driver veered into the oncoming lane while approaching a curve before losing control and running into the parked motorcycles before bouncing off and coming to a stop in the middle of the road. The crash injured three people, though thankfully none of them were seriously injured.
2013 BMW C600 Sport Recalled in Canada for Loose Fairings
Tue, 04 Dec 2012BMW‘s maxi-scooters have only just started going on sale in North America and already there’s a recall for the 2013 BMW C600 Sport in Canada. According to Transport Canada, the fairing side panels on certain BMW C600 Sport scooters can loosen and detach while moving at very high speeds. In such a situation, the detached fairing poses a hazard to the rider and passenger as well as other vehicles and bystanders.
