Vintage 1971 BMW R60/5 PARTS BIKE. This is a NICE barn/garage find. Very nice parts, everything looks to be correct for this motorcycle. There is NO TITLE and lost the key. Will write a "bill of sale". The numbers on the frame, VIN plate match. Was parked for a very long time, listing as a "non running project/parts bike". I think it needs a starter. Still has original tool kit and tool kit bag. No warranties and "as is" sale. AGAIN bike has no title.. All sales are final, and there are no refunds or returns. Full payment within 7 (seven) days after the auction has ended. Buyer must also contact me within 2 (two) business days after the auction has ended to set up a day and time for payment and pickup. Tue, 05 Oct 2021Euro 5 updates and more for six-cylinder K bikes The R18 Transcontinental and R18 Bagger have been getting a lot of attention lately, as BMW‘s foray into large-displacement cruiser touring segment. Getting somewhat lost, however, are BMW’s existing K1600 range, which used to be the company’s representatives in the touring category. While still part of BMW’s lineup, the six-cylinder models have not been updated since the 2017 model year, not even receiving any changes to meet Euro 5 standards that came into effect last year.
BMW Fuel Pump Recall Hits US, Affecting 50,184 Motorcycles
Mon, 06 Jan 2014A recall affecting 18 different BMW motorcycle models from seven model years has been announced for the U.S., affecting 50,184 motorcycles. At issue is a potential leak in the fuel pumps or auxiliary fuel pumps on 2005-2011 BMW R series models, 2005-2012 K series models, 2006-2010 HP2 models and 2010-2011 S1000RR sportbikes. A similar recall was announced last month in Canada, affecting 6,325 motorcycles, and we knew it was a matter of time before the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced one for the U.S.
