Professionally Restored 1966 BMW R69S Highlights if the restoration include: Rebuilt Motor, First oversize on Pistons, Rebuild crankshaft, Resealed Transmission, Kicker gear replaced. Rebuilt final drive. New Exhaust System, Rebuilt Carburetors. New Base Coat/Clear Coat paint job. Hand pinstriped. Powder coated Frame Rebuilt wheel set/ Stainless spokes/New Heidenau tire set. New shock/dampeners New Wire Harness, New Rubber Kit. This bike was completely torn down and rebuilt from the ground up. Everything was either replaced with new or rebuilt. 46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012

An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.

V.I.P treatment for first Dainese D-Air customers

To celebrate the release of the D-Air race suit in the UK, Dainese are offering the first 20 customers to order a complete V.I.P treatment at the upcoming World Superbike round at Silverstone. The iconic safety brand will have each of the customer's suits personally tailored, with measurements undertaken by a Dainese D-Air engineer from the factory in Italy. Following this, the first 20 customers to register will receive a hospitality lunch, garage tours of the Aprilia, BMW and Kawasaki teams with the opportunity to meet the Dainese riders and rub well protected shoulders with the big names of the WSB paddock.

Not sure what's going on with the sound in this vid, but it calms down after a minute - sorry! As my long term BMW S1000RR does most of its miles working hard on track days, I felt an early 6000 mile service might be a good idea. A quick phone call to my local dealer (the friendly and efficient Pidcocks) saw my bike in the workshop the following week and back in my hands by lunchtime.
