HERE'S A GREAT RUNNING 1966 R50/2 WITH A LATER R60/2 ENGINE. IN AN LOCAL ESTATE SALE WE PURCHASED VINTAGE BIKES FROM A ELDERLY COLLECTOR IN SOUTHWEST CT. OUR SHOP GAVE THIS BIKE A THOROUGH TUNE-UP, INCLUDING A NEW COIL, CARBS REBUILD, VALVE ADJUST AND RETIMED THE ENGINE. IT'S A ONE KICK START BIKE AND RUNS GOOD. 120 PSI COMPRESSION IN BOTH CYLINDERS. HAS GOOD WORKING ELECTRICS AND HELLA BAR ENDS. TIRES ARE OLDER. KICKER OCCASIONALLY GETS CAUGHT AT TOP AND RELEASES WHEN CLUTCH HANDLE IS PULLED IN. 2023 BMW R 1250 R – First Look
Mon, 13 Nov 2023Full LED lighting and lean-sensitive electronics now standard equipment BMW announced minor updates to its R 1250 R, giving the Boxer-engined roadster a full LED headlight, and making some previously optional electronics standard, all while keeping the price unchanged at $14,995. Visually, the 2023 BMW R 1250 R looks similar to the previous model. The most noticeable change is the new LED headlight, which can be upgraded to an optional adaptive turning light.
WSBK: 2011 Utah Results
Tue, 31 May 2011Carlos Checa extended his lead in the 2011 World Superbike Championship, winning both races at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park. The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.
