Bike is set up ready to attach sidecar.Hand made 2 into 1 exhaust with Swift muffler.New 26/6 sidecar gear set installed by St. Louis BMW motorrad and final drive restamped with 26/6.Speedo gears changed for sidecar ratio.New wheel bearings and seals, new steering bearings, swingarm bearings,cables,handle bar,bar end blinkers, switches,solo seat,Ural f. fender,rear sidecar appropriate springs,tires and tubes, ignition coil, brake shoes...NOS COMPLETE R/69/S engine with NO NUMBERS stamped in case and less than 50 MILES! All mounts for sidecar installed.Bike starts 1 kick and opperates like it should.Stock front fender and rear half of rear fender go with bike.Bike comes with bill of sale due to no titles were issued on bikes before 1976 in Alabama. European Parliament Makes ABS Mandatory, Tighten Emissions Standards by 2016
Wed, 21 Nov 2012The European Parliament voted overwhelmingly in favor of new rules that would increase emission standards and make anti-lock braking systems mandatory for all new large motorcycles, scooters and trikes and quads by 2016. The new regulations, which would still need approval from European Union member states, may only directly affect Europe, but they will have a wide-reaching affect on manufacturers’ product development for other markets. BMW, for example, has already made ABS standard for all its motorcycles for 2013.
