Up for sale is our 1960 BMW r69s this is your chance to own a rare one of a kind collectors item. No they did not originally come in this color. We painted it sea foam green to stand out and be eye catching. The frame is a 1960 r69s with sidecar mounts (vin number 655087) it has been professionally powdered coated black. It has an r50 motor (vin number 637222) So no the frame and motor numbers do not match. The point of this build for us was to show the world what our small shop is capable of. We have used it for a promotional piece for a year and a half now and its time to let it go to a new home. Please do your research before bidding. This is not Electric start, it is kick start only. BMW Sells Husqvarna to Pierer Industrie AG
Thu, 31 Jan 2013The BMW Group has announced the sale of 110-year old Husqvarna Motorcycles to Austrian-based Pierer Industrie AG. “The BMW Group signed a purchase agreement with Pierer Industrie AG (Austria) for the acquisition of Husqvarna Motorcycles. The acquisition will proceed subject to approval by anti-trust authorities.
John Surtees to Lead Classic Vehicle Parade Fundraiser
Fri, 03 May 2013Motorsports legend John Surtees will lead a parade of classic cars and motorcycles – including Surtees’ 1960 500cc Grand Prix Championship-winning MV Agusta – in his home town of Edenbridge, England. Surtees is the only person to have ever won world championships in both Grand Prix motorcycle racing and Formula One, and the parade will feature cars and bikes from his time as both a racer and a racing team owner. Surtees himself will drive the Team Surtees TS7, a F1 car constructed by his own team that debuted at the 1970 British Grand Prix at Brands Hatch.

It’s pretty interesting to see the way a Evo and Twin Cam V twin Harley Davidson engine works. He also has up the crazy BMW flat twin R100 motorcycle engine which seems more complicated then an engine should be!
