Up for sale is our 1960 BMW r69s this is your chance to own a rare one of a kind collectors item. No they did not originally come in this color. We painted it sea foam green to stand out and be eye catching. The frame is a 1960 r69s with sidecar mounts (vin number 655087) it has been professionally powdered coated black. It has an r50 motor (vin number 637222) So no the frame and motor numbers do not match. The point of this build for us was to show the world what our small shop is capable of. We have used it for a promotional piece for a year and a half now and its time to let it go to a new home. Please do your research before bidding. This is not Electric start, it is kick start only. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.
