BMW Other tech info
BMW Other description
I HAVE OWNED THIS BIKE TWICE. THE 1st TIME I RODE IT BACK FROM SEATTLE FOR A RIDE HOME. I HAD BOUGHT IT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER WHO WAS A VERY SAVY BMW RIDER. THE BIKE HAD BEEN TO ALASKA,MEXICO,CANADA AND ALL OVER THE LOWER 48. IT HAD 80K MILES ON IT AND I MARVELED AT HOW SOUND IT WAS AND HOW COMFORTABLE IT WAS. I SOLD IT RIGHT AFTER I GOT HOME AND BEMOANED IT. A YEAR AND A HALF LATER IT SHOWED UP ON CAR GUYS DOORSTOP AGAIN. I SOLD MY TOURING BIKE AND MADE THIS 1 MINE. WELL BEGRUDGINLY I'M GOING TO LET SOMEBODY ELSE PUT THE NEXT 115 ON HER. IF YOU'RE LOOKING AT THIS BIKE YOU KNOW WHAT ALL THE CYLE PUNDITS HAVE SAID ABOUT THE GS'S. THEY ARE THE SWISS-ARMY KNIVES OF MOTORCYCLES AND I HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE VERY TRUE. THEY ARE A COMFORTABLE TOURING BIKE,ADVENTURE OFF-ROAD STEED, OR CARVE UP SOME CANYONS TAKE YOUR PICK.

What’s New With CRP Electric Motorcycles?
Tue, 30 Apr 2013CRP, the Italian company who made a splash last year when it announced it would make a production electric motorcycle, has been strangely quiet lately. With no news coming from the team in Modena, Italy, we wondered, what’s CRP been up to lately? While not much has been said publicly for months, CRP has been working feverishly behind the scenes to strengthen its staff.
The future. But we can't have it
Thu, 10 Nov 2011It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.
BMW Engineers Considered V10 for i8 Sports Car
Wed, 09 Oct 2013So as we know, the BMW i8 sports car is promising to be a real step forward when it comes to fuel efficient sports cars. Powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine mated to an electric motor, it promises acceleration times once only occupied by the highest level of supercars. However, was a three-cylinder engine always on BMW’s agenda?
