I will try to be short and not annoying with the description because I simply bought this bike, and now I am selling it. I bought it through E bay about 5 mnths ago in Miami from a very nice guy (he let me keep the bike in his garage for a month). This year I planned my vacation with my family in South Carolina, I flew down from NY to Miami, where the BMW was located, and I sat on this bike and rode 700mis to South Carolina with absolutely no problem. I pre-owned the bike for another 400-500mis while in the south, then came home in NY where the bike is located now. I own 1 Indian already and this is the reason I am selling the BMW (by the way this is my 5th one). I have the title sign from the previous owner. I never registered the bike under my name because it was my plan from day 1 to enjoy the bike for the vacation and then re-sell it. Now, let's talk about the "baby". She passed her life by the water in Miami. This is the reason why the chrome and the wheels are pitting in different places. This is the only problem of the bike. The bike actually has 24700mis, nothing for a mechanically well maintained BMW. Bike rides smooth with absolutely no mechanical problems. She comes with ANTI LOCK BRAKES in perfect shape with NO LIGHT BLINKING and GARMIN WIRELESS GPS FOR MOTORCYCLES, WATERPROOF, DISPLAY DESIGNED FOR USE WITH GLOVES, BLUETOOTH, POWERED BY BATTERY AND BY THE MOUNT. BMW FACTORY SADDLEBAGS WITH IGNITION KEY MATCHING LOCK. FACTORY ACCESSORY PLUG AND BMW ADVANCED BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM, DOES NOT OVERCHARGE, LEAVE IT PLUGGED IN FOR CONSTANT BATTERY MAINTENANCE. THE PAINT IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. Be sure you have your finances in order and be able to pay at the end of the auction. I will accept Pay pal for the full payment. BMW Partners with India’s TVS Motor, Plans Sub-500cc Models
Mon, 08 Apr 2013BMW announced it has signed a long-term agreement with Indian manufacturer TVS Motor to develop and produce small-displacement motorcycles. The two companies have been in discussions for several months now, but alliance is only now official. Under the agreement, BMW and TVS will work together to develop a new model with an engine displacement smaller than 500cc.

Created to bring together a youth-oriented lifestyle element and sustainable mobility, the scooters take significant design cues from the MINI lineup of cars while using a lithium-ion battery pack to deliver guilt-free mobility. Making the MINI E Scooter Concept almost excessively hip is its smartphone integration, where the owner’s iPod or similar device acts as the actual key for the scooter, clicking into a central docking station between the handlebars.

Wed, 11 Aug 2010BMW has launched an HP Race Power Kit for the S1000 RR costing £2,850 including VAT.For trackday riders and racers, the kit - a new ECU and an Akrapovic exhaust system - increases peak power and torque, while optimising the bike’s engine, braking and power management systems, claim BMW, for short circuit riding and racing.Ayrton Badovini’s 2010 FIM Superstock 1000 championship-winning bike uses the HP Race Power Kit. It can also be found on the Jentin Racing-BMW Motorrad S 1000 RR being raced by Richard Cooper in the British National Superstock championship.• Maximum engine output increased by 4bhp and 6lb.ft to 197bhp (147kW) and 88.5 lb.ft (120 Nm) with power and torque significantly bolstered throughout the key 5000 to 9000 rpm midrange• Once installed, the power mapping for the four engine management riding modes (‘Rain’, ‘Sport’, ‘Race’ and ‘Slick’) is identical and the S 1000 RR delivers the full 197bhp across all four modes• The different modes instead alter the electronic rider aids with the Race ABS reducing input and the Dynamic Traction Control allowing full power at greater lean angles as the modes move from ‘Rain’ through to ‘Slick’• Engine braking on overrun is reduced giving more balanced corner entry• Pit-lane limiter activated when the start button is held down in first gear (actual speed maintained may vary with the bike’s gearing)• Akrapovic titanium and carbon-fibre full exhaust system saves 6.8kg over stock and includes a baffle which allows the exhaust to meet noise regulations in place at some circuits
