2013 BMW R1200GS Telelever Problem Explained in Transport Canada Recall
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Earlier this week, we wrote about reports in the Italian media of a delay on deliveries of the 2013 BMW R1200GS because of an issue with the suspension. Transport Canada has now issued a recall notice on BMW‘s new GS – the third to come from the Canadian government agency – that would explain the delay. According to Transport Canada, the threaded plugs securing the fork tubes to the upper triple clamp may come loose over time on some units.
Bosch Announces Next-Generation Radar-Based Safety Systems
Thu, 26 Sep 2024Four of the six new systems will debut on a new KTM in November Bosch announced six next-generation radar-based rider assistance systems that it claims could help make motorcycling safer and more comfortable. These six systems – five of which Bosch claims to be world-firsts – offer a step beyond radar-based adaptive cruise control. Bosch also confirmed that four of the systems (all involving forward-facing radar sensors) will debut on a new model from KTM that is set to debut in November.
