BMW Reports Q3 2011 Results
Thu, 03 Nov 2011The BMW Group reported a 14.8% increase in motorcycle revenue and a 6.5% increase in unit sales during the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011. The German manufacturer sold 28,862 units over the quarter, including 26,312 BMW-branded motorcycles and 2,550 units from its Husqvarna subsidiary.

Tue, 23 Feb 2010I’d like to ramble on about a dozen different things relating to this video, but the 3- minute, 19-second clip speaks for itself. However, once the engine is revving at high rpm, watching the cams, finger followers and valve springs seemingly freeze in action due to the incredible speeds, I was reminded of that whole “Dude, the faster I went the more everything around me seemed to slow down,” experience we’ve all heard about or experienced. FIM Updates Superbike Racing Homologation Lists for 2013
Tue, 19 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.
